Last full day, Nara and the 22nd
This is the hardest entry, not only was it the last full day in Japan but I also took a crazy amount of pictures. I overcame the depression from the night before and decided that I would manage to pack in the night and that I wanted to see Nara. So we went (the tunnel that went through the mountain was cool..and did I mention how I loved the bike:P).
The weather was perfect for taking pictures, it was so sunny but not too hot, everything looked bright and colourful and green, especially when compared to the drab weather I had in Kyoto.
I actually had to check the names of the places in the pictures in google since my friend led the way (I did have the map but I never could make sense of where we were;D) so I was not sure exactly about some.
What is different in Nara from Kyoto is that in Nara all the temples and shrines are concentrated to and on the edge of the park so you can cover it all by foot in some hours. We took so so so many pictures and I deleted a lot but I still have 190 left, therefore this post has the most of them as well but not quite 190;).
First is Kasuga Taisha where we walked from the parking lot in a few minutes.

(this one was not taken by me:P)

Then we came back to Osaka and after dinner it was already so late I had to go to buy the train tickets for the next day and start packing at the hotel. Packing was nightmare and I almost would have gone on a train an hour too late since I did not know that you have to be at the airport 3 hours earlier, not 2 like it had been in Tallinn. Thankfully it was easy to change the tickets once I found out (and thank heavens I did!).
Packed until 3am and woke at 5:45am to check out, give the laptop and stuff back and head to the airport. The bag was so heavy...and I was so sad to go that from the moment I got to the airport I was very emotional through the flight...listening to sad BOF OST did not help.
