Kobato is so cute!!! I have had less and less anime I am watching at the same time they air from season to season. Last one there was only PH and 07-Ghost, now just Kobato. But it is more than enough...getting random Kurogane flashes is funny but it does not annoy me - hehee, Kurogane and Fai are not only in TRC and Holic that way :P:P:P. I started to look totally differently at Ginsei and Ioryogi :D.

4 days to go!! And then Osaka :D:D.

I really need to upload a selection and post them here...but I'm lazy!
Also have been lazy and still not begun my letters to Blod and Star! :S
And I need to study Japanese but I haven't.........hmm......what have I done at all...:P

Aa, I like Let the Right One In a lot, the movie was good and the book gives the same feeling, or rather I should say it the other way around. I did not make time to read a lot this summer but when I started this one, somehow now I do find the time:D.

Thinking about new camera...

Went and took a few pictures on the 11th. I had not been to that beach in Tallinn before, even though it is the closest, so the scenery was new and interesting. I actually like the industrial look this one offers.

....it has been long long and even longer but I'm still around . It is just that I have been very busy with trying to learn Japanese, watch anime and doramas, read and sew/knit. Somehow I think that juggling so much has meant that I haven't gotten a lot done and it is true too.
Anyways, I'll be flying on Tuesday to Osaka, which makes me so extatic that at the moment I don't even understand how nervous and excited I am. It shall be an adventure, especially since I am going alone!

However, ganbarimasu!!!!

I have this list of manga and magazines I want to check out...and a list of 10 pages of bookstores in Osaka! I want to manage one-day trips to Nara and Kyoto as well.

Don't have any idea how it will all go but I bet the 10 days will go by flying. Hopefully I can find some way to get on the net as well. Maybe even blog a bit...which in my case has become so unlikely as it is (lol, and over a year ago I wrote an entry at least every other day - how times change!).

Hiya, yeah, I'm still alive and kicking but have had no time to form any coherent blog entries.
To the news:
1) I'm going to Osaka in April . I'm hontoni hontoni ureshii!! For 8 nights. I'll be in Osaka for most of the time but Kyoto and Nara are in plans as one-day trips both.
*learning Japanese...(or trying to)...in truth...a bit* This has accounted for some of the being-busy situation.

2) I was in Vilnius last week for 3 days and made some pics. All in all the trip was fun, even if I would have preferred more time for exploring on our own, they had most of our time filled with (kinda weird) stuff. It was a company bonus-trip, so it figures of course. But I did manage to nip 1.5 hours before we boarded the bus to drive back (yeah, that was DEATH! 10 hours there on Thursday but 12 back on Saturday because we had to drop of my colleagues in Tartu...and Pärnu...and only then was it Tallinn) and visited my penfriend Starlin's home street and got pics done at her house . It was sad we could not see since you're in London, Star!!
All in all we walked through the Old Town a few times when we went eating, went to the bookfair (to my utter happiness they had a Japanese box!!! My heaven!), then for 2 hours to the biggest mall in the Baltics, Akropolis (that was boring since I was not out to shop), then 40 km out of Vilnius to see a work thing that does not concern our work directly but I guess they thought it was interesting...hmm... And then to Trakai, which we could not get in since we came too late, so we strolled around it and went back. The next morning we went with a colleague to hunt for Starlin's house, came back on a trolleybus(! - we were so happy to have experienced real life in Vilnius too ) and took the bus back to Tallinn through all those other places .

But onwards to the pics:

don't want to kill your Friends Page :D )

The hectic times are over and I'm still alive :). I should post pics of lots of stuff - the Nabari knitted stuff, Yokoyama Yu plushie and the RyoUchi scarf (I love to call it that!). However the customary summary of last year and hopes for the new one...not my style, I kind of never have gotten the whole changing of the number of the year and there have been no resolutions or whatever. 2008 was...a strange year but it was ok, 2009 with the planned trip to Japan should be good too but you'll never know :D. Life is still was strange of a thing as it has always been, that does not look to change any time soon.
Oh, there is one resolution, sorry - I should get back to writing, even a bit...otherwise I would be very angry at myself. And I better start learning Japanese in some sort of organized way, I can't rely on picking up stuff from animes, manga, doramas, etc anymore.

I had two days off but in the end I did not get home earlier than when I am at work. Buying Christmas-presents yesterday and going to a company event today...and I have a new project - a scarf for a friend that has to be ready for either Friday or Sunday. Luckily I chose big knitting needles, so it should be ok, timewise.

But all of this means that I have no time to watch either anime or Kanjani stuff! :o And I have not gotten to learning the Kanji for Uchi and Miyano Mamoru either. Only Ryo so far still then! :D

Wrote and finished the letter to Blod! :) I shall be able to send it tomorrow...I feel so bad that I once more took that long, I am incorrigible. However, the timing is perfect because it meant that I could add the Christmas-card as well.

In the creative front it goes well - I love how the socks are turning out, at least as far as I have made them. Maybe the heel will mess everything up :P, but I don't think so.
The other present is going well too, I got quite a bit done when watching The Fall last night. I have so high hopes for this one, I am totally afraid of butchering it...ganbare, I tell myself.

I'm doing a hundred things at once as always these days. Somehow all the Christmas gift ideas have ended up involving handicrafts - knitted socks, some sewing I cannot disclose here ;), some more sewing of the same nature but for another person, then probably a few things for my family and colleagues.
Then I am making a RyoUchi scarf :D, a fancy name for a yellow-and-pink striped scarf...thinking that I should perhaps get a pair of yellow and a pair of pink gloves and use one of each colour.
I've finished two versions of Yoite's scarf, one as close a reproduction as I was able to make and the other a thinner version when I don't need such a huge scarf. Raimei's hat is fun too, even if it sometimes falls on my eyes.

Oh, and then I am writing a piece for the company's birthday party about the goings-on of the year!

Busy, busy!!

ROFL!
Yesterday we saw a group of people in hooded overalls with masks on going past the store, but I was slow and did not catch them on my phone until they had gone some way and I had to dart out of the door to take the pic. There was a blue, green, red, white and pink one...
